Born from the Zalando ecosystem, ZEOS is more than logistics. It is an operating system that combines advanced infrastructure with powerful software to help brands move, store, and deliver products across Europe with seamless precision.

When ZEOS wanted to present their vision to partners and visitors at trade fairs, they chose an unexpected path. Instead of relying on static demonstrations, they reached out to us to bring their world of fulfillment to life. The result was a digital twin that transformed logistics into an immersive story: a living demonstration of coordination, speed, and scale.

Our starting point was ZEOS’s six core logistics stations. We studied footage, spoke with their team, and mapped workflows until we understood the heartbeat of the system.

In the face of so much complexity, we built a visual language inspired by clean industrial lines, stripping elements down to their essentials to emphasize flow and function. At the same time, we knew the experience had to feel approachable, not mechanical.

The balance was key: accuracy in process, but playfulness in experience. We wanted people not just to see how logistics works, but to explore it with a sense of curiosity, discovering how each movement connects to the next. In this way, complexity became choreography.

Each station was rebuilt in 3D with meticulous detail and brought to life through animations that show products moving through the network. Stylized characters ensured people stayed at the center, reflecting ZEOS’s inclusive culture and human-driven vision.

The experience was deployed as a Web AR app, launched instantly by scanning a QR code. AR offered visitors the freedom to explore on their own terms, zooming in and rotating through the stations at their own pace. Instead of being told how logistics works, they uncovered it piece by piece, turning a complex process into something playful and personal.

To go further, we expanded the project into a VR showcase. On the trade fair floor, visitors stepped inside ZEOS’s digital twin, with conveyors looping around them and stations unfolding in every direction. Seeing it in full 3D is like walking into the operating system itself, creating a memory far stronger than any slide deck or presentation could ever match.

Through VR, ZEOS’s system isn’t just a model to look at, but an environment to inhabit. By making their operations visible and virtually tangible, partners and clients leave with a deep understanding of what ZEOS can deliver.

Logistics Unpacked transformed ZEOS’s processes into an intuitive, human-centered journey. The AR and VR replicas quickly became a centerpiece at trade shows, proving to be more than an exhibition tool. They established a new way for ZEOS to communicate its vision, likely to become a leading showcase format in how logistics and technology are presented at events in the future.

For ROCANI, this was more than a build. It was a chance to collaborate with a company that is redefining logistics itself. ZEOS is not simply moving boxes, it is orchestrating complexity across Europe, combining infrastructure and intelligence into one seamless system.

Our role was to make that orchestration visible, to translate hidden operations into an experience that feels clear, human, and inspiring. Partnering with ZEOS meant showing how creative technology can elevate even the most intricate systems into stories people want to explore.
