We were invited to create the stage visuals for the iF Design Award — one of the world’s most prestigious design events, staged at the legendary Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.

We envisioned a cinematic hero’s journey, following a glowing sphere as it navigated the iF design universe. The sphere became the protagonist: searching for the winning idea, diving into the unknown, and finally bursting into the light of the award itself.

Spread across three massive screens, this immersive storytelling experience transformed the ceremony into a unified visual narrative — merging motion graphics and digital experience design into one cohesive stage language.

We treated the sphere as protagonist. From the first flicker, it moved like an idea taking shape.

We mapped its path through abstract space, weaving moments of tension and resolution — dark voids, arcs of light, the sudden reveal of the trophy. The stage became a canvas for interactive storytelling and 3D motion design — ambient, expansive, immediate.

With custom motion graphics layered over massive LED screens, we created a visual narrative system that connected every design discipline on stage, turning recognition into rhythm.

The project honored the legacy of the iF mark — over seventy years of design recognition, creativity, and innovation — while pushing its identity into the digital age through digital innovation design.

On the evening of the awards, the visuals became the heartbeat of the ceremony. What might have been a backdrop instead became central: design not just shown, but felt in every tilt of light and sweep of motion.

This installation wasn’t just stage graphics — it was an act of digital experience design, bringing together brand storytelling through design, immersive spatial design, and architectural scale.

For us, the project demonstrated how creative technology and motion design can elevate live events into experiences that move with cinematic precision. It proved that the most memorable moments happen when design breaks from expectation and becomes space.

      iF Design Award Stage Visuals

Working with the iF Design community reaffirmed the idea that design excellence is about more than object or image — it’s about presence.

Our role was to translate that presence into a real-time visual narrative. Through immersive brand storytelling, digital innovation, and interactive experience design, we made the invisible visible: the energy of creativity, the weight of recognition, the shared breath of the global scene.
