TOKIE asked us to create a product video for their Web3 social trading app, which allows people to follow markets and trade together.
Crypto trading platforms are full of charts, numbers, and constant movement. While this information is essential, it can easily feel overwhelming. TOKIE wanted a short motion design film that could introduce their product in a way that felt clear, engaging, and easy to follow.
A charming neon green 3D character was already part of TOKIE’s visual identity. It became the emotional entry point into the project and the anchor for everything that followed.

We approached the product video as a kind of choreography between the character and the market.
Crypto trading is defined by motion, so charts and data were treated as active elements rather than static graphics. The movement was designed as a back-and-forth, where shifts in the market influence the character’s actions.
Instead of explaining product features step by step, we concentrated on rhythm, timing, and transitions. The goal was to show how the app behaves in use, using motion to reflect the pace and energy of trading.
This way of working builds on earlier projects like SOPHON and Katana, where motion design systems and character design were used to give shape to complex digital products without relying on heavy explanation.
The final film unfolds as a continuous exchange between the character and TOKIE’s trading environment.
Animated candle charts, fast-paced UI mockups, and shifting market visuals surround the character, pulling viewers into a vivid and energetic crypto world. Price movement and UI interface elements move in sync with the character, creating the sense of a shared space rather than separate layers.
The motion design film introduces TOKIE as a fast, social, and responsive trading platform. Rather than telling viewers how it works, it lets them understand the product through movement and interaction, capturing the energy of trading without overwhelming the viewer.
This project continues ROCANI’s exploration of motion and character-led storytelling in Web3. From SOPHON’s digital characters to Katana’s animated financial systems, our work focuses on helping people navigate complex platforms through visual behavior rather than instruction.
With TOKIE, that approach was applied to social trading, where speed and volatility are central. The project reinforced how motion design can add clarity and personality to products built around data and constant change.
